A little background:
Since leaving university with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science, including sometime living in Australia, I’ve tried to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can to help as many people as I can. This has included working with elite level powerlifters and rugby players to countless people wanting to get stronger and lose fat.
How I enjoy training personally:
As a competitive powerlifter, I enjoy strength training. Out of competition, muscle building and strongman are nice changes.
My role at True:
My role is to help you stay accountable and consistent. It’s your gym and you’re setting the direction you’re going. I’m just here to keep you on the right track.
Anything else important you want to mention:
Workout mentality - I have come here to kickass and chew bubblegum, and I’m all out of bubblegum.

A little background:
I qualified as a personal trainer in 2019, swapping the tax sheets for a set of dumbbells after originally working in accounting and finance.

The above quote sums up why I decided to make the career change.
Since then, I have not looked back, and still share the same passion as when I first entered this industry in helping people train effectively and have fun whilst doing it!
How I enjoy training personally:
A 1-hour date with the Airdyne. Joking, I’m not crazy, resistance training is my jam!
My role at True:
I am very excited to help both our Wetherby and Guiseley members reach their health and fitness goals, as well as helping our Personal Training Team continue to deliver awesome sessions and develop as coaches. I shall see you all on the gym floor!

A little background:
After studying Adult Nursing I realised I wanted to work with people to improve their health and quality of life. I swapped my scrubs for squats and haven’t looked back since. I wasn’t always strong and fit and came to find this passion in my early 20s. My goal is to make the gym an accessible place for everyone and help them to realise just how incredible they are!
How I enjoy training personally:
A little bit of a mix of strength training and conditioning.
My role at True:
For me becoming a Personal Trainer is a dream come true and showed me that nothing is out of reach. My goal is to support you to grow, achieve your goals and unlock strength you didn’t know you had!

A little background:
I qualified as a personal trainer in 2022 and it was the best decision I made. I was a regular gym goer with friends and played a lot of sports including football, rugby and ice hockey which helped me develop strength and muscle growth. I have recently got into functional fitness/crossfit which has helped me personally to become fitter and stronger and is something I like to add to workouts as it develops overall fitness and pushes you mentally as well as physically and you feel massive achievement after.
How I enjoy training personally:
I workout about 3-4 times a week and even on my “off days” I will still be out getting my steps in or going swimming. I am very active and it shows in my workouts. My training has changed since becoming a PT. It was all about hitting PB’s and how much I could squat but now I focus on the “quality over quantity”. Using correct form and alternative ways to hit the target muscles, this has brought my progress on so much better and is what I like to teach.
My role at True:
My role at True will be to help, coach and pass on knowledge to help members develop in their progress with each workout they do.
My personal message to members will be:
Don’t be scared to try new exercises/equipment. Your body can be very adaptable and capable of exercises you aren't used to.

A little background:
I have always been passionate about fitness and training having played football for pretty much my whole life. Since completing a Strength and Conditioning degree in 2022, I’ve worked with a range of clients to help them achieve their goals.
How I enjoy training personally:
Resistance training and functional training
My role at True:
My role is to tailor training plans to meet individual clients requirements, whether that be weight loss, muscle gain or anything in between!
Specialist areas of interest:
I have a master’s degree in Exercise & Nutrition Science with special interest in weight management, behaviour change and the relationship between nutrition and mental health. Additionally, I believe that a holistic approach to training (balance, coordination, agility, proprioception, strength, and the cardiovascular system) give the optimal health-wellbeing and performance results.
A little background:
I was born in the lovely Canary Islands, Spain and have worked in the health & fitness industry since 2018. I am a passionate, empathetic, and extroverted international exercise and health consultant with experience in clinical and rehabilitation contexts as well as in the general fitness industry.
How I enjoy training personally:
I enjoyed functional training with the addition of free weights and/or body weight exercises in which I can improve not only my cardiovascular system, but my strength and balance as well!

I am currently in my third year of university studying sport and exercise science. I enjoy all sports and currently play rugby union and love interacting with people from different backgrounds

I enjoy using functional, athletic movements to improve strength and fitness, a mix of crossfit and S&C techniques.
