OUr RespoNSE To COvid-19

How are we keeping members safe?

At True our business model is centred around low volume, high quality personal training.

All sessions are always booked flexibly in advance, so by default we manage flow and numbers. Our model takes into account a large leniency in the diary meaning you can always get your sessions booked in.

Set in our 2500sq ft space, our private gym facility is spacious, light and airy, allowing for plenty of space per individual to train effectively and social distance. Our changing facilities are personal, so should you need to use them, you only ever have your own space which is cleaned after each use.

In line with government guidance and based on our own risk assessment we are taking the following steps to keep members safe:

 Due diligence:

Around Covid-19, sanitisation products and understanding the potential risks within our business.

Social distancing:

Will be adhered to at all times within our facility by members and Personal Trainers. The following modifications will ensure social distancing is followed with ease.

 Staff Training:

Extensive staff training in order to create a safe environment and effective workout.

Professional Programming:

All programming will be amended to aid social distancing and minimise any cross contamination.

Clear signage:

We have had professional signage made for key rules that we ask to be followed. We have also installed clear floor markings to ensure social distancing is followed with ease. Personal Trainers will also have marked designated areas to work from.

One way system:

Introduction of an overall one way system.

 Our usual booking system:

As usual all sessions will be booked in advance meaning we manage flow and numbers. Off-peak times mean that a maximum of 5 members will be present in our whole facility.

 Staggered arrival for sessions:
Our booking system will also mitigate against any potential congestion as sessions start every 15 mins 14 hours per day. We have installed a socially distanced 'holding area' upon arrival in case of multiple members arriving simultaneously.

 Large amounts of additional ventilation:

Our front roller door will remain open to at least 5-6 feet to provide large amounts of additional ventilation, a key factor in minimising risk.

Key entry and exit sanitisation stations:

Including multiple other stations within the facility.

 Additional signed cleaning rotas:

Regular sanitisation and cleaning of key 'hot spot' areas including, but not limited to: door handles, switches, surfaces handles etc.

Potential 'high traffic' areas removed:

We have carefully reviewed the use of our space, removing potential areas that may have caused traffic.

 Equipment cleaning:

Members are to clean equipment after each use, using one of our many sanitisation stations.

Face coverings:

We welcome members who wear face coverings if they wish to do so.  Face coverings are not currently recommended where social distancing is possible within the governments Covid-Secure guidance for fitness facilities. We will of course be monitoring this should the guidance change.
